When to set a money transfer rate alert

A Rate Alert can reduce repeated checking when a transfer is flexible, but it cannot reserve or guarantee a provider quote.

Choose a meaningful target

Base the target on the corridor you intend to use and a realistic current or historical benchmark. Extremely distant targets may never be reached within your timeframe.

Keep the transfer deadline in mind

If the payment is urgent, waiting for a marginally better rate may not suit your needs. A planner can help you consider the available evidence alongside your deadline.

Verify before sending

An alert tells you that monitored data reached the target. It does not lock the rate. Always open the provider's current quote and confirm its fee, recipient amount and availability.
